This is purely a teaching job. The candidate is required to conduct lecture & practical classes in Electrical Engineering subjects. He/She is expected to be conversant with Electrical Engineering subjects.

Undertaking personal research projects and actively contributing to the institution\\\'s research profile; • Supervising students\\\' research activities; • Undertaking continuous professional development (CPD) and participating in staff training activities; • Undertaking administrative tasks related to the department, such as student admissions, induction programmes and involvement in committees and boards; • Representing the institution at professional conferences and seminars, and contributing to these as necessary; • Establishing collaborative links outside the university with industrial, commercial and public organizations.

1. Minimum Master degree 2. At least 5 years teaching experience (after acquiring Masters Degree) in the specialization mentioned in the position of Lecture or Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor or Assistant Professor or Professor or Head of Department. 3. Age not to exceed 50 years 4. Experience in guiding students preparing projects. 5. Degrees should be obtained via full-time or part time studies and not by distant learning.

Qualifications as above that is for the post of Associate Professor, as applicable. Post Ph.D publications and guiding Ph.D. students is highly desirable. Minimum of 10 years teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or minimum of 13 years experience in teaching / research / industry is essential
